Lance Statement on Latest ObamaCare Delay
WASHINGTON, D.C.--- Congressman Leonard Lance today released the following statement following the Obama Administration’s decision to delay the employer mandate in ObamaCare for another year.
“This decision is the latest piece of evidence that the President’s health care law is not working. The President moved unilaterally –again – to choose which parts of the law his administration will enforce. This arbitrary action only adds to the great uncertainty already facing employers under ObamaCare.
“This move is political. Coming on the heels of a disturbing CBO report last week suggesting the equivalent of 2.5 million jobs could be lost under ObamaCare, the President is delaying the full effects of the law until after the 2014 House and Senate races.
“The President has handed this reprieve to businesses. It is time we give every American that same relief.”
