Lance in Rocky Hill For Library Event
ROCKY HILL, N.J. --- Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) joined Boy Scouts and community members this week in Rocky Hill for a ceremony at the Mary Jacobs Memorial Library. Ethan Rizzi, a candidate for the rank of Eagle Scout with Montgomery Troop 850, completed a service project helping to install and dedicate a remembrance stone at the library in honor of Mr. William Fallon, a Rocky Hill resident who died in the World Trade Center on 9/11. The stone also acknowledges the work of Mrs. Brenda Fallon, a library trustee, who was in attendance and thanked for her many years of service to the library. Lance and other speakers commended Rizzi for his community service and thoughtful Eagle project in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Fallon. Libraries across New Jersey are funded through property taxpayers and patronized by many state residents.
“It is my honor to represent Rocky Hill in the Congress of the United States and to serve constituents like Mrs. Fallon and Eagle candidate Ethan Rizzi who are selfless servants to their communities. Many Rocky Hill residents whose property taxes fund the library are going to come to Washington Street and enjoy this beautiful site. We honor the lives of Mr. Fallon and of all of those who perished on 9/11. Efforts like this remind the American people of the patriotic love of country that unites us. Job well done, Ethan. The Fallons are most deserving of this special place,” said Lance after the event.
