Seventh District Lawmaker Holds Listening Session in Union County
WESTFIELD, NJ – Today, Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) visited the Westfield Community Center to hold a listening session with area residents.
NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ – Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) held an hour-long town hall style meeting with nearly 50 area residents today at the New Providence Senior Center.
During the meeting, Lance discussed important issues before the Congress and answered questions from participants. Seniors were most concerned about the state of the American economy, growing levels of debt and rising energy prices.
FLEMINGTON, NJ — Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-7) today announced he will hold a town hall meeting on Saturday, February 25 in Lebanon Township.
The Lebanon Township gathering will be Lance’s 23rd town hall meeting.
Congressman Lance is expected to discuss the important issues facing Congress and the American people. Lance will take questions and share his views on issues like the economy, health care and federal spending.
WASHINGTON, DC — U.S. Rep. Leonard Lance (7th District) released the following statement today regarding the Obama Administration’s decision to not move forward with the Keystone XL oil pipeline:
"The disappointing decision shows, in my opinion, that the Obama Administration is not completely serious about job creation, economic growth and energy independence. The project would create American jobs and American energy and has the strong support of labor and business alike.
